Our Fitness & Performance team offers functional and energizing programs to support strength and conditioning. Whether you are starting your fitness journey, training for elite performance or somewhere in between, our friendly and knowledgeable team of trainers are here to help you.

Open Gym Workout Sessions

Sign up for a 45 minute timeslot to use the equipment in our world-class Strength and Conditioning Centres in the Athletic Centre or Goldring Centre. Get access to specific equipment like squat racks, free weights and cardio machines for your own independent workouts. Women-only workout hours also available.

You will get the same great training experience at any of our top class facilities on campus. New equipment and unique features are always being added to each space, while at the same time retaining our most popular equipment and features.  

 NOTE: Covid Stage 3 Max Capacity = 5-60 participants/ session (depending on venue and circuit)

This program now requires registration to participate, please sign up in advance to reserve your time slot. Registration is FREE for incidental fee-paying students enrolled in spring/summer courses at U of T.

VACCINATION & SCREENING REQUIRED

In line with recommendations from public health authorities, participants must be fully vaccinated – 2 doses +14 days - by September 22, 2021 and complete a pre-visit screening form on the day of your visit before using our facilities.  The pre-screening tool will be available online and printed copies will also available at check-in if you do not have access to the online form. Please be ready to present your completed form (digital/mobile or print copy) when you check-in.

Eligibility

Students: Fall 2021 students paying incidental fees can access this programming at no additional cost. 

Members: Anyone who has a Fall 2021 one- or four-month membership.
