COVID-19 Update:

In accordance with provincial lockdown measures, effective at 12:01am Monday, November 23, 2020 and in place for a minimum of 28 days, U of T Sport & Rec will temporarily close all indoor and outdoor sport and recreation spaces and programs.

The Athletic Centre, Varsity Centre and Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport will remain open for academics, research and administrative operations.

The David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic will remain open for scheduled appointments and will continue to offer online appointments as appropriate.

The Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education operates a range of activity spaces for sport and recreation, academic and research programs, and programs for children and youth including:

As long the province remains in modified Stage 2 lockdown restrictions, the Athletic Centre, Varsity Centre and Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport will remain open for academics, aquatics, research and administrative operations. The David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic, at the Goldring Centre, will also remain open for scheduled clinical appointments. 

The athletic, physical activity and recreation spaces within these buildings are temporarily closed.

U of T students, who pay mandatory athletic incidental fees, are a priority in our Sport & Rec facilities. The student body informs and governs our decision-making processes involving the provision of recreational and athletic programs and services within our facilities. All community members, including U of T affiliates, are welcome to take part in programming provided that they are aware that student priority programming may limit access to certain facility areas or hours

Entrances to buildings have been modified to control access according to City of Toronto public health.
