IMPACT PROGRAM UPDATE

We’re excited to announce a change in the registration system for our IMPACT classes in Winter 2026!  

Moving forward all classes (with the exception of Women Only classes) will be listed under one program, “IMPACT Training”.  Participants will no longer have to select the program based on day of the week, all classes in the next 7 days will be visible under one program.  Women’s Only classes will remain their own program with only those classes visible. 

Please note that our recommendation is still to take 3 or 4 classes per week, with one day of rest between each class.  You may encounter some repeat exercises if you attend daily.

Plans and Pricing

The IMPACT Training Pass is an add-on to an active Sport & Rec membership. An active membership or current U of T student access is required for the full duration of the pass.

What Happens in the Class

Each class starts with a friendly coach welcome and a dynamic warmup to help you ease in.

You’ll move through 6–8 guided exercises using equipment like barbells, squat racks, dumbbells and kettlebells. Coaches support you throughout so you can learn, feel confident and get stronger week by week. Every session ends with a cool down and quick check-in.

Classes are 60 minutes, and joining 2–3 times a week helps you feel the full benefits. Show up, have fun and let your coaches guide the rest! Get your IMPACT Training Pass today.

What to Bring and What to Wear

All equipment is provided. Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

Purchase Pass

  • Members can purchase the pass at any time during the sale period
  • Participants are not officially registered until they receive a confirmation email from Sport & Rec
  • The confirmation email is sent immediately after registration is complete
  • If no confirmation email is received, please contact Sport & Rec to verify enrollment

Pre-Registration

  • Members can pre-register for a class spot 7 days before the class start time
  • Reserve your spot in the "Pre-registration for IMPACT Sessions" section above

Cancellation

  • Pre-registrations can be cancelled up to 30 minutes before the class start time.
  • To cancel a pre-registration online:
    1. Visit the Recreation Portal
    2. Sign in and select your profile/name
    3. Go to Program Registrations
    4. Choose the session you wish to cancel

If you experience any issues, please email the Sport & Rec team.

No-Show Policy

If a member repeatedly books and does not attend after receiving an email warning for an initial no-show, future IMPACT bookings may be cancelled.

Refund Policy
  • Participants may request a partial refund at any time during the pass period
  • Refunds are prorated from the date the email request is received, minus a $15 administrative fee
  • Refunds for earlier dates require valid medical documentation showing the date of illness or injury
  • No refunds, holds, or extensions are issued due to closures, schedule changes, or facility availability
  • For refund requests, please email the Fitness & Performance team
