BIG HIIT / Studio HIIT

What is BIG HIIT & Studio HIIT?

It's interval training, but…BIGGER! This full-body conditioning and cardio-based workout (boot camp-style), utilizing interval training will have you feeling stronger, energized and ready for the day!

Come and join us during scheduled program hours below. There will be program staff on site monitoring and managing capacity as needed. 

Want to try out our Big HIIT class? Come out to our open HIIT workout every Friday afternoon!

Want to try out our Big HIIT class in a different setting? Try out our open Studio HIIT workout - same BIG energy!

Upcoming Schedule Adjustments:

Upcoming adjustments to this group fitness schedule will be listed below: 

  • No adjustments at this time. 

A full-body conditioning and cardio-based workout, utilizing interval training. 

45-minute class.

Each class will start with a friendly intro from the coach, leading into a dynamic warmup. 

You'll challenge your movement abilities through the 5 fundamental movement patterns - squat, lunge, hinge, push, and pull. Coaches will guide you every step of the way. 

Every class will finish with a cool down and closing greeting. 

All members - U of T students paying incidental fees for the current term; Active Sport & Rec members. 

Can be adapted to be beginner friendly or more advanced. 

Coaches are able to provide modifications for varying abilities. 

All equipment will be provided. 

No special clothing is required. Wear something you can move comfortably in. Wear comfortable closed-toe and athletic shoes. 

Indoor activity. 

Big HIIT: Max. 60 participants (AC Field House 2/3); Ratio: 1 to 20

Studio HIIT: Max. 20 participants (GC Fitness Studio); Ratio: 1 to 10
