Memberships
Is the gym free for students?
All full-time U of T students are required to pay KPE incidental fees with their tuition. This means all U of T students paying incidental fees have access to the Sport & Rec facilities for the duration of the school year (September to May). During the summer, non-registered students may purchase a discounted membership to access the Sport & Rec facilities.
Are there discounts available for the Sport & Rec membership?
We offer discounted rates to our community members, U of T alumni, staff and more. More information about discounted memberships can be found here.
I am a community member. Can I get a membership to U of T gyms?

We are pleased to offer a co-resident discount for those living with a current member of our facilities. All co-residents must also be over 18 years of age, as per our membership rules.
Child and Youth
I want to take my kids to a drop-in swim. Is this allowed?
Since we are strictly an 18+ facility, no children under the age of 18 are allowed in the facilities for our regular drop-in swims. However, we do have a “Fun Swim” available at scheduled times for all ages. Children are only permitted in the pool and pool area with a parent or guardian during the times scheduled as Fun Swims.
A parent or guardian who can swim must accompany children to the pool and be within the pool area to supervise the child. Parents/guardians are responsible for the children in their care while in the facility and must supervise them at all times.
Fun swims are offered most Sundays from 12:10-2:55pm. For a full schedule, including cancellations and adjustments, as well as more information, please see https://kpe.utoronto.ca/sport-recreationaquatics/drop-fun-swim.
Please note that a Family Day Pass is required for all families wishing to participate in the Fun Swim. One Family Day Pass is valid for up to 2 adults and 4 children. Family Day Passes are also valid for the drop-in family skate program (winter semester only). More information about Family Day Passes can be found at https://kpe.utoronto.ca/sport-and-fitness/family-programs-drop-0.
