Come to this group advising session on navigating university as a first-generation student. We will discuss various topics ranging from academics to student life from the perspective of first-generation students.

A first-generation student is generally defined as a student who is the first in their family to attend university. This session is open to all students who identify with that experience or who feel that this will be a beneficial session for them.

KINship Hub Film Series

Did you know that your T-card grants you access to multiple film databases? Each month at the KINship Hub, we’ll come together to discuss a movie selected from one of these platforms. Participants will be expected to watch the movie prior to the discussion.

This month we will be discussing the movie Next Goal Wins.

The story of the American Samoa soccer team, who suffered the worst loss in World Cup history, losing to Australia 31-0 in 2001. With the 2014 World Cup approaching, the team recruits a down on his luck, maverick coach (Fassbender) to help turn their fate around.
