The Kimel Family Field House is located on the B1 level of the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
The Kimel Family Field House is a 2,000 seat international-competition-grade facility with hardwood floor, retractable bleachers, and retractable wall dividers.
The field house is also outfitted with one of the most advanced sports broadcasting systems in a Canadian university. Features include: a high definition, 6.7 m x 3.35 m scoreboard, instant replay capability for the scoreboard and internet broadcasts, 167 individual speakers, an LED ribbon display with 143,000 pixels, 8 individual camera platforms to capture action from all angles, cameras on basketball backboards and video capability in team rooms.
Primarily used for drop-in court sports like basketball and volleyball, high-performance training and games, and for recreational leagues and tournaments.
