Grab a slice of pizza, and join us for a facilitated dialogue from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday February 15th, focused on career planning for international students.

In this session you’ll

  • Acknowledge and discuss barriers and obstacles facing international students looking for work in Canada

  • Explore how and where to begin job searching

  • Develop strategies and support systems to help you build and grow your career

  • Discuss general information about work visas and supports available for international students looking to work in Canada

Centering the experience of international students, this event is co-hosted by U of T Student Life’s Career Exploration & Education team and the Centre for International Experience. This session will be led by Mary McAuliffe, Career Educator and Joseph Unufegan, International Student Immigration Advisor. Both Mary and Joseph will be available from 6:30 - 7 p.m. for questions and answers.

** Please note that we will not be providing advice on permanent residency in this session. Please refer to the Working in Canada page on the Centre for International Experience website for more information and support on this topic.
