Join Varsity Blues Women’s Basketball Head Coach and two-time Olympian, Tamara Tatham in a conversation and Q&A about anti-racism and sport.
About this Event
In this virtual table talk, Tamara will be in discussion with two U of T students - a current varsity athlete and executive member of the BIPOC Varsity Association, and a Varsity alumni and current U of T graduate student.
The students will help Tamara unpack what it was like navigating high performance university sports as a Black student athlete, professional player, and coaching staff, with special attention on race and gender equity throughout the discussion.
Following the discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to ask Tamara questions in a curated Q&A session.
Don't miss this amazing opportunity to connect with Tamara and learn about the ways race and sport intersect.
