Welcome to the 2023-24 academic year at the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education!
I hope you’ve had a fantastic summer, one replete with rest, connection, movement and play. As the summer winds down and we prepare for the academic year ahead, I’d like to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to all the new students joining us at the Faculty, and welcome back all of our returning students.
The start of a new academic year is always rich with possibility, and this year is no exception. Having recently completed our Academic Plan, which sets out our strategic objectives for the next 5 years, there’s a sense of renewed vigour here at the Faculty. During the process of developing the plan, we clarified our vision into a singular statement: excellence in advancing healthy living through inclusive movement. I hope it will guide and inspire you as you embark upon your research, learning and co-curricular activities.
Over the summer, our faculty and staff have been hard at work, fine-tuning course offerings and research opportunities, and optimizing our student support services. We’re excited to welcome several new faculty members to KPE this Fall, expanding our perspectives and areas of expertise. And our Sport & Recreation team has been busy enriching our physical activity programs, creating inclusive and contemporary offerings for the University community.
It’s an exciting time to be here at KPE. I hope the energy that infuses this moment carries you into a dynamic and fulfilling academic year.

KPE's Office of the Registrar and Student Services is located at 55 Harbord Street and is most easily accessed via the Huron Street entrance.
Office hours
Mondays through Thursdays: 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 4:30 p.m.
Fridays: 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Virtual and in-person services are available. The office is closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
