Join the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education and Climate Positive Energy at University of Toronto as we kick off Toronto Climate Week and gear up for Green Sports Day with a breakfast of champions.

Enjoy breakfast followed by a panel discussion on Saving Winter Sport in the Climate Crisis featuring the following speakers:

  • Catherine Villiard-Gravel, Director, Sport Business and Sustainability at the Canadian Olympic Committee
  • Philippe Marquis, 2x Olympian in freestyle skiing, coach at Freestyle Ski Canada, Chair of the COC Athletes Commission, Athlete Alliance member at Protect Our Winters
  • Dr. Daniel Scott, Professor of Geography at University of Waterloo
  • Dr. Madeleine Orr, Assistant Professor, Sport Ecology at University of Toronto
