The Varsity Blues invited children from schools across the GTA to spend PA Day, a day when students stay home from school while teachers and staff participate in professional learning, at the University of Toronto Goldring Centre for High Performance to watch a men's and women's basketball game free of charge.

Over 1,000 fans took in the Varsity Blues men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader on Friday, November 29, at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

The women kicked off the action at 11 a.m., with the men tipping off at 1 p.m.

As part of this special event, the Varsity Blues invited children from schools across the Greater Toronto Area to attend the games free of charge, providing an exciting opportunity for young fans to experience the energy of university sports.

The initiative aimed to foster community engagement, inspire the next generation of athletes, and make high-performance sport accessible to youth from all backgrounds.
