Welcome to Gentle Moves: Come as you are to move, sweat, and feel with self-acceptance, strength, and connection. Intentionally offered in midterm seasons.

Lead by Kay-Ann Ward, this class focuses on gentle movement exploration that allows participants to relax and express themselves while connecting to their mind, body and spirit.

Participants are encouraged (but not required) to bring a journal or notebook to write their thoughts and set an intention for themselves. This class is perfect for all learners and wellness practitioners.

In this class, we will engage in...

  • Organic movements that awakens your entire being 
  • Light stretching 
  • Breath work 
  • Powerful wellness techniques that may be of help to you on your journey

About the instructor

Kay-Ann Ward is a Multi-Faceted Artist and Entrepreneur. A Dancer, Choreographer and Creative Director. She is also a Guided healer, Fitness Instructor, Movement and Embodied Wellness and Transformation Coach.

She uses dance, movement, self exploration and self expression as well as embodied wellness practices to help her clients connect to their mind body and spirit.

Her work pulls from her personal lived experiences, Afro-Caribbean roots as well as her academic back ground as a Social Services worker.

Kay-Ann is known for her creativity, energy, knowledge of her craft and the nurturing space she provides for individuals to flourish.

She connects culture, education, wellness and entertainment in a way that captivates audiences and helps her clients achieve their goals.

She recently produced and directed the dance production “Remembrance” that was presented at the 2024 Toronto Fringe Festival.

She has performed on stages with top artists,  coached women, men and youth helping them to embody the fullest expression of themselves.
