Participants needed for Body Image Study

You are invited to participate in an online research study. This study is being conducted by the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto to examine the role of body image as it relates to motor performance and learning within exercise contexts. In this study, you will perform a survey and experiment that examine how you respond to a series of exercise models; physical activity and sport classes are often conducted in group settings with an exercise instructor or coach modelling the activity.

Are you:

  • Currently between 18-35 years of age;
  • No major psychiatric or neurological conditions;
  • No major psychiatric or neurological medications;
  • Are right hand dominant;
  • Have normal or corrected-to-normal vision;
  • Have no psychoactive substance dependencies;

You could be eligible to participate in this study. If so, you will be compensated for your time at a rate of $15 per hour for a survey as well as experiment that is approximately 1 hour in duration; this compensation will be provided in the form of an e-gift card upon completion of the study.
