Postmenopausal women who are not currently physically active needed to participate in remote study

Alternative Physical Activity Strategies for Women

We are looking for postmenopausal women who are not currently physically active to participate in an entirely remote study conducted by the University of Toronto.

Study Goals

We are interested in studying the effects of different forms of physical activity on blood sugar control among women, which has the potential for reducing further risk of developing chronic illnesses like cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Further, women with a history of breast cancer are at increased risk of these illnesses compared to women without cancer. This increases the importance of identifying effective physical activity strategies in women and drawing comparisons in the responses to these strategies between individuals with and without a history of breast cancer. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to produce new evidence specific to women both with and without a history of breast cancer on the effects of various forms of physical activity.
