Tune in on Thursday March 10th from 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. ET for an engaging and important discussion on BIPOC experiences in developing a career after completing a KPE degree! Featuring KPE alumni, this event will give you the opportunity to interact with and learn from alumni, and hear their experiences as BIPOC individuals in their fields. This event is open to BIPOC students and allies and will be held over Zoom.

Panelists include:

  • Dr. Bahar Tajrobehkar: Diversity consultant at TTC, Instructor at York University and a learning consultant at GoodLife Fitness
  • Vanessa Treasure: Lead Coach with Sport & Rec's Fitness and Performance team and Founder of MOMENTM
  • Alicia Russell - Secondary Vice Principal at Durham District School Board

    Yahya Ali - Analyst, Sports Analytics at Canadian Tire Bank

  • Gerome Manson: Assistant Professor at Queen’s University and researcher in neuromechanics and motor control
