We often think about food as fuel for our workouts. But what effect does physical activity have on the way the body processes the food we eat?

On March 5, 2019, the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education hosted its annual free public symposium, where leading experts discussed the relationship between physical activity and nutrition and translated their research insights into practical strategies that could be used by anyone to improve their health.

The symposium was open to adults of all ages and fitness levels, health and wellness practitioners, researchers, colleagues, students, athletes and friends. It was hosted and presented by the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education at the University of Toronto and sponsored by Iovate Health Sciences, the makers of MuscleTech.
