Escape the books with a day trip to Hart House Farm to experience caving, cider making, archery, s'mores, and more!

This tri-campus trip will take you to Hart House farm for the day to take part in activities such as hiking the propery, exploring caves, making apple cider, archery, arts & crafts, and smores by the campfire!

This event is for students only, from all UofT campuses. Students must register for the event with thier respective campus - this page is for UTSG (UofT St. George Campus) students only. 

Transportation: The bus to the farm will pick up UTSG students from Classic Ave, just around the back side of the Athletic Centre (55 Harbord St.) at 8:00 a.m. Please make sure to arrive early to check-in and avoid missing the bus. UTM and UTSC students should check with thier respective campuses for bus information and departure.

If you are a UTSG students who would like to take the bus from another campus (UTM or UTSC), please register first, then email your request to moveucrew@utoronto.ca. This ensures that our team knows where to expect you, and your seat isn't given away at a previous stop. 

To return to campus, the bus will leave from the farm around 5:30 p.m. Depending on traffic, students should arrive back at our St George campus around 7:00 p.m.

8 a.m. // Bus pick-up and departure from St. George Campus. Please plan to arrive by 7:45am to ensure you do not miss the bus. 

10 a.m. // Planned arrival time to Hart House Farms. Welcome, coffee, washrooms, icebreakers.

11 a.m. // Participants will have the opportunity to rotate through the following activities;

• Property Walk & Caves
• Archery
• Arts & Crafts in the cabin
• Apple Cider making & Campfire Smores
• Lunch & Freetime
  • Pasta Lunch will be served, with vegan and gluten-free options. Please note that all items are prepared in a shared kitchen where common allergens (such as nuts, soy, shellfish, dairy, and gluten) are also handled. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that any dish will be free from cross-contamination. If you have a severe food allergy or sensitivity, we encourage you to bring your own meal to ensure your comfort and safety.

5 p.m. // Full group campfire debrief

5:30 p.m. // Load busses for departure, aiming to be back on campus by 7pm. 

Registration fee: There is a $20.00 registration fee for this event, to assist with the cost of food and transportation. If you become unable to attend the event following registration, please contact the customer and membership services office (sportandrec@utoronto.ca) to request a refund by October 22, before closing. After this date, we are unable to provide refunds for this event.
