How do we understand gender and sexuality? Join us for an interactive workshop offered by the Office of the Registrar and Student Services and facilitated by KPE's Equity Engagement & Student Advisor, presented in partnership with U of T's Sexual and Gender Diversity Office. Students of all backgrounds are welcome!
Participants will discuss a variety of topics, including:
- How we define sex and gender
- The colonial roots of the gender and sex binary
- The importance of correct pronoun usage
- Strategies for engaging in self-advocacy and allyship when misgendering occurs
