Kick off Black History Month with this interactive workshop on how to be a better ally to racialized people!
Led by KPEUA's Equity Commissioner and organized by the KINections Equity, Diversity & Inclusion team, this workshop is designed for students to learn about allyship and the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of colour) experience. The workshop will be divided into 3 sections: allyship conversations; video and discussion; and an identity chart activity around intersectionality.
Participants are encouraged to keep their cameras on to help create a sense of community, but it is not required.
If you have questions or comments but wish to remain anonymous, this will accommodated through an online tool.
