Influence of Robotic Guidance on the Learning of a Rhythmic Task Study

! LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS !

 

We are looking for individuals who are interested in participating in a  research study that investigates the influence of robotic guidance on the learning of a rhythmic task. The task is for participants to move their hand in circles with or without robotic guidance.

 

The study will be done in one session, and it will take maximally two hours of your time. The study is conducted in an in-person format. The location of the study is the Sensorimotor Integration lab in the Goldring Center for High Performance Sport.

 

Also, there will be a financial compensation of $15 per hour of testing.

 

The “young” participants must:

  • Be between 18-29 years of age.

  • Be right-handed.

  • Have normal or corrected to normal vision.

  • Have normal hearing.

  • Be free of any chronic pain in their shoulder region.
