Are you a competitive team sport athlete? We want to hear from you!
Study Overview: We are researchers in the Sport and Performance Psychology Lab in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto. We are interested in exploring how athletes cope with stressors in training and competition. We want to learn about whether athletes encounter different stressors in practice compared to match day, and whether the environment can change the way athletes cope.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (or turning 16 this year)
- Competitive/elite athlete
- Plays a team sport
- Competing in the upcoming 2023-2024 year
What is involved?
- Complete 2 online surveys
- One after a training session
- One after a competition
- Each survey will take around 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
Compensation: Athletes can enter a draw to win one of five Amazon gift cards ($50 CAD). Each survey completed would be one entry to the draw. Participants who complete both surveys will be eligible for TWO entries into the draw.
