Adults Living With and Beyond Kidney Cancer and Age-matched, Cancer-free Volunteers Needed for Study

Researchers at the University of Toronto are trying to understand the relationship between exercise and cognitive function in individuals living with and beyond kidney cancer compared to cancer-free adults.

Who can participate?

We are looking for individuals:

  • 18+ years of age

  • Have internet, webcam, and smartphone access

  • Diagnosed with kidney cancer

  • OR

  • No history of cancer diagnosis to be part of the cancer-free, control group

What is involved?

One virtual assessment that you can participate from home using Zoom. It involves:

  • Aerobic fitness test (walking only)

  • Cognitive measure

  • Wear a small, lightweight physical activity device for 7 days during waking hours

The total time commitment is approximately 1.5 hours, and you will receive $60 for the session and access to a walking program!
