Re-certification of Standard First Aid is required by the same governing body within three years of initial certification.
WSIB requires that participants with a Standard First Aid certification that is more than three years old must complete a full course and alternate between a one-day re-certification and full course every three years.
The Canadian Red Cross and Lifesaving Society are the only recertifications offered by the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto.
The program combines adult and youth participants in the same class. Registrants under 18 years should register through our Child and Youth program offerings.
