Perceptual Motor Behaviour Study - Pointing and Aiming Task

You are invited to participate in a research study in the Perceptual Motor Behaviour Laboratory (WS2021) at the University of Toronto (55 Harbord St.) examining the use of sensory information both during voluntary movement or in the absence of voluntary movement. In this experiment, you will either perform voluntary reaching movements to a target on an aiming board while audiovisual stimuli are presented, or observe audiovisual stimuli on an aiming board without performing voluntary movements.

 

Are you:    

1) between 18 – 47 years of age, and 

2) have normal vision or corrected-to-normal vision, and

3) free from major neurological conditions

 

If so, you may qualify to participate in this study. You will be compensated for your time over one session lasting less than 60 minutes(i.e., $10).T he risks associated with participation in this study will be explained to you on the first contact with the experimenter. At the same time, your eligibility will be confirmed. Space is limited, and as such, expressing your willingness to participate does not guarantee participation.
