It will be a night full of excitement and energy as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues football team hosts the Windsor Lancers in their 2017 home opener under the lights this Monday night, September 4 at Varsity Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Blues will be hosting their annual Parade of Champions at halftime, honouring 10 U of T teams who claimed national and provincial banners in the 2016-17 season. The parade will be highlighted by fourth-year swimming sensation and 2016 Olympian Kylie Masse, who on July 25, became the women's 100 backstroke world champion and world record holder at the FINA championships in Budapest.

Masse, along with other members of the Varsity Blues championship teams, will be available for autographs and a meet and greet throughout the game.

The Varsity Blues football team are also proud to be hosting their first-ever equipment drive. Fans are encouraged to bring gently used football equipment to donate to underprivileged youth who play football in our communities. The Blues will present the equipment at halftime of their September 16 game versus Guelph.
