Lockers and towel service are available at the Athletic Centre and Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Towel and locker service must coincide with the timing of a membership.
The University and the Faculty are not liable for lost or stolen locker contents or for contents left in a locker after a locker rental agreement and/or membership has expired.
Members have access to two kinds of lockers: day lockers and rented lockers.
Day lockers are labelled, full-size and only for use for the day. Day lockers are free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Locker users must supply their own locks.
Locks and contents must be removed by the closing of the facility every day; otherwise the lock will be cut and a $28 clear-out fee will apply.
Rental lockers are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Locker service does not include towel service. The 2018-19 locker rental fees are as follows:
- Monthly fee - $5.31 +HST
- Annual fee - $44.25 +HST
At the end of a rental period, locker locks and contents must be removed; otherwise the lock will be cut and a $28 clear-out fee will apply. Locker contents not removed to coincide with the end of the rental period will be held for 30 days. After that time, unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.
Towel service is not included with locker rentals. Towel service must be purchased by separately at the following rates:
- Daily fee – $3.54 +HST
- Monthly fee – $8.85 +HST
- Annual fee – $79.65 +HST
Towel service purchased at one facility provides access to towel service at both the Athletic Centre and Goldring Centre.
T-cards and Sport & Rec membership cards must be scanned for outgoing and returned towels.
Members are responsible for towels they received. An unreturned towel is considered a lost towel and subject to a $10 lost towel fee.
