Healthy, active males and females needed for an exercise research study

Researchers at The Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education are conducting a study to determine how amino acids from the diet are used to make muscle proteins following exercise

Who can participate?

  • Healthy men and women aged 18-35y 
  • People who have not regularly performed lower-body resistance exercise in the past 3 months

What is involved?

  • 3 visits to our lab in the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport 
  • 2 Exercise trials involving: resistance exercise, blood sampling, and skeletal muscle biopsies
