My name is Shannon Giannitsopoulou and I am a graduate student in Social Justice Education at OISE. As part of my Major Research Project study, I'm recruiting:

  •  5-8 KPE Sport and Recreation staff members
  • 15-20 part-time or full-time students and that self-identify as racialized/Indigenous/disabled and/or transgender

Participation involves individual interviews for 40-50 minutes.

We will meet at the Athletic Centre (55 Harbord Street) or Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport (100 Devonshire Place).

You will be asked questions pertaining to equity in sports and recreation programming offered by the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education at the University of Toronto at the St. George campus.

There is no known harm associated with this participation in this interview. Your response will be kept confidential by the researcher. Participation in this study is voluntary. Participation will not affect your grades or academic standing.

If you choose to grant me an interview, you will need to return two documents:

  1. A signed consent form
  2. A demographic information form.

You may choose to not answer any sections of the demographic form.

The interview activities are approved by the U of T Ethics Board and supervised by the course instructor Dr. Miglena Todorova, Department of Social Justice Education (room 12-262 OISE).
