KPE Self-Study (UTQAP)

As part of the normal cyclical review process within the framework of the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process (UTQAP), the Vice-President and Provost of the University has commissioned a review of the Faculty's academic programs.

The purpose of the self-study is to describe the Faculty, its programs, operations, faculty, staff and students, and to highlight advancements that have occurred since the 2011 self-study. This is an important, institutionally and provincially-mandated exercise, and provides an opportunity to step back and reflect on the Faculty in its current state to help to inform its priorities and focus going forward.

The KPE self-study process spanned a 12 month period from October 2018 – September 2019. It included broad consultation with faculty, students, staff, with input from academic leadership, senior management, sessional lecturers, post-doctoral fellows, research associates, and alumni.

The Faculty is pleased to share the final self-study report with the U of T community and its stakeholders. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this important study.

The UTQAP cycle includes the preparation of a decanal response to the recommendations of the external reviewers and for this response to be presented to the Academic Board of the University’s Governing Council.
